QUICKSTYLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT…

“ We care about preserving our forests for future generations.”

Essential to life, forests are also a major economic resource. Quickstyle's high-quality laminate floors are produced in accordance with strict environment-friendly methods and standards.

The core board of Quickstyle's laminate floors is 90% recycled wood fibres, mainly from by-products such as sawdust, shavings or recycled wood products. The fibres are pressure bonded under high temperature with biodegradable resins. Also, laminate flooring is ecologically superior, as it generally contains less than half the wood required to manufacture conventional hardwood floors.

Finally, even after years of usage, over 85% of a laminate floor’s components can be recycled, meaning it can be disposed of with minimal effect on the environment.

As for hardwood floors, our policy is to partner only with flooring manufacturers that comply with our environmental standards and those of forest protection agencies such as the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
